In over thirty years of company history, we've got there before the others many times: Motors for rolling gates with four support wheels, electromechanical pistons with worm screws, central electromechanical motors for balanced doors, ISO 9001 certification, built-in optical encoders, specific inverters for sliding gates which adjust motor speed.

We are pleased to make an addition to these and other innovations: ISO 9001:2000 certification, also known as VISION 2000.

On 18th and 19th June, 2002, our Quality System was audited by DNV Certification Body for compliance with the ISO 9001:2000 standard (VISION 2000) and passed the test with no critical or non-critical faults.

In this case, too, RIB made no comprises, just as it behaves with its products.

Similarly to 1995, when we were the first producer of automatic gate opening systems to be certified to ISO 9001, this time we are first in the world, in our sector, to be certified to the new VISION 2000 standard.

We would like to take this opportunity of thanking you all for the support you have given us over the years and for suggesting possible improvements to RIB products and services. Keep on like this, our success has also been achieved thanks to you.

Certification for a product or a company, CE marks, Quality System, self-certification etc. etc. Anyone not familiar with these terms will easily get them confused. What exactly do we mean when we talk about "Certification to ISO 9001-2008" or "Quality System Certification"?

We are proud to say that whoever buys a RIB product can be more than sure of what they are getting, because here at RIB we adopt every conceivable measure aimed to prevent and eliminate any defects in every area of company activity to ensure compliance with ISO 9001-2008, under the strict observation of an external agency with world-wide recognition. And by doing so, RIB must also ensure compliance with the specific standards applicable to its own products.
